Malcolm Mclaren (22 January 1946 – 8 April 2010)

Malcolm McLaren passed away last night in a clinic in Switzerland after being diagnosed with Mesothelioma (a rare form of cancer) last October.  In his early life Malcolm was at the forefront of British youth sub-culture and  played a huge role in revolutionising the way music was recorded, packaged and promoted to the masses.

Many say his management skills were questionable at times, but his vision & ambition were second to none. His hard headed determination and self belief are the necessary characteristics that all aspiring managers/entrepreneurs should have.

Managing the Sex Pistols, Opening SEX & being married to Vivienne Westwood are just a few of his achievements. Check him out…he was productive.

My thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
